It was cold and damp day and the wind was blowing across the field at A.D. Whitakker's Farm last Saturday, but that didn't discourage over 250 hearty souls from braving the elements at the Ashland Kiwanis Club's annual barbecue, which helps fund many programs benefitting area youths.
